I have spent most of my working life employed in the IT industry. Initially as a hardware field engineer, I moved to applications support and then latterly software development. With the latter I have progressed through several development environments starting with C and C++, then Microsoft Visual Basic, and for the last few years Microsoft .NET. My favourite development language is C# (C-Sharp), but I can switch instantly to VB.NET according to whatever development environment my client needs. Microsoft have done an outstanding job with their .NET platform, it is solid, feature rich and mission capable.

As well as holding down a regular job, in my spare time since the early 1990's I have developed and sold via the Internet several software packages which were of my own design. I had many customers from all over the world. That work continues today with new developments which can be found on this web site.
